Directions >
From the South:
Take I-35 north to exit #249, Boundary Ave. Turn left, follow Boundary Ave. about 3 ½ miles until it ends. The South St. Louis County Fairgrounds are on the right side of the road.
From the North or from Wisconsin via Hwy 53:
Take I 35 south of Duluth to exit #250, Highway 2. Take Highway 2 north ½ mile to Boundary Ave. Turn Right, follow Boundary Ave. about 2 ½ miles until it ends. The South St. Louis County Fairgrounds are on the right side of the road.
From the Iron Range:
Take Highway 53 south to Midway Rd. in Pike Lake. Turn right, follow Midway Rd. to Highway 2. Turn Left, Follow Highway 2 south into Proctor. Turn Left onto Boundary Ave, Go about 2 ½ miles to the end of the Road. The South St. Louis County Fairgrounds are on the right side of the road.
Finding Premiums
If you go
- If you need a hotel, reserve early since they fill up quickly during fall color tour season
- If you like fall colors, plan to stay a few days after the trial to tour the beauty in this area
- Dress for the weather; there is no heat or A/C (although there are large ceiling fans)
- Enjoy the very low entry fees, friendly club, and wonderful floor
Arrival
- Boundary Road ends and turns into a dirt road at the fairgrounds. Keep going straight to the last building on the right before the curve
- Parking is around any of the buildings
- RV parking is along the far side of the arena building
