Ann Arbor Dog Training Club > Facility Information
Facility Description
- This is a really nice place for running agility.
- A new air-conditioned agility building with a turf floor was built and opened in 2019. It was built on land owned by the Ann Arbor club, formerly being used for a dog exercise and potty area. The outdoor 2-ring trials they formerly had will no longer be held.
- Their former building still exists. It is used for non-agility classes, seminars, and for overflow crating during agility trials. This building is also air-conditioned.
- The site sits back off the road, next to a disposal facility. I’ve never experienced any odors from that, although the trucks can be loud coming in and out of the drive or moving around the company’s lot in back.
Crating & Potty Area
- Crating is a little tight in the new building, especially when a trial fills. Some people crated from their cars, right outside the door. Others crated in another building, which was also air-conditioned.
- Dog potty areas are on a strip and along a chain-link fence, right outside the building. More green space is at the end of the strip across the driveway.
