8 minutes from Adventuretails is a unique restaurant called “Chicken Salad Chick”. While I did not eat here since I was only in town one night, the restaurant was recommended. It offers most every kind of chicken salad you can imagine, with cute names such as Dixie Chick, Sassy Scotty, Barbie-Q, and Cranberry Kelli. They also offer soups and salads, sandwiches, and “little” desserts. While this site usually doesn’t promote franchises, this one is unique (at least at the time of the listing) so an exception is being made.

Just 8 minutes from Adventuretails is Tequila Mexican Restaurant & Cantina. I purchased take-out on the first night of the agility trial I attended. It was good food, very reasonably priced, and service was also very good. There was a line for seating when I entered, and it was not even 5 pm, so it is popular in the area. With outdoor seating and being right next door to Pet Smart, perhaps they allow dogs on the patio? Please ask first!
