New Grand Rapids MI Agility Trial Option: Cedar Rock Sports Plex
If you go
Cedar Rock SportsPlex offers both soccer and ice hockey. The two areas share the same cafeteria and restrooms. When the ice hockey side is open, there are many more public spectators. New owners have made numerous maintenance updates and many more are planned.
As of February, 2024Â [new turf is scheduled for complete replacement later in 2024]:
- The turf infill is very “dirty” and sticks to dogs and people. Plan to clean your dog after trialing if you don’t want the dirt inside your living areas. Bring older shoes and clothing, especially if your dog likes sitting on your lap!
- Read all information the trial secretary sends after registering. The trial I attended started at 9 am all three days.
- If you use a straw mat or one with not very solid material, bring a plastic tarp to place under it.
