From Syracuse and points South: Take I-81 North to Exit 48A (Fort Drum/US Rt 11). Merge onto Route I-781 for 4.2 miles. Take Exit 4 for US 11 North, turn left on US 11 for 48.6 miles to stop light at T intersection with Routes 11 and 68. Turn right and follow Route 11/68 through the village of Canton for 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Route 68. Landmark – there is a Stewart’s gas station at this intersection. St Lawrence University E.G. Appleton Riding Hall is on the right, 0.85 miles from Route 11/68 intersection.
From Potsdam and points East: Follow Route 11 South for 9.2 miles (measured from intersection of Rt 345 and Rt 11, near Clarkson College). Turn left onto Route 68 and follow directions as above.
From Canada and points North/West: Cross at Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge, follow access road (Route 812) to US Route 37. Turn right onto Route 37 for 2.1 miles. Turn left onto Route 68 for 17.2 miles. Continue straight over bridge and through the village of Canton, turn right onto Route 68 and follow directions above.
