Turner Agri-Civic Center > Facility Information
Facility Description
The 19,470 square feet Turner Agri-Civic Center arena hosts concerts, trade shows, banquets, livestock shows, wedding receptions, and of course, dog agility! The facility is completely climate-controlled by a 300 ton Carrier chiller system, which does an excellent job in Florida’s heat. It is kept immaculately clean, even for dirt-floor events.
Crating & Potty Area
Crating
There is a center walkway between the rings that leads directly to the back lobby where the main crating area is located. There is also a rear door to the arena to access this area.
Additional crating space can be found in the raised bleachers on both the upper and lower levels. You can access the bleachers by stairs or elevators. And if that’s not room enough, more crating space is in a separate building, a short two-minute walk from the Civic Center.
Dog Potty Area
There are plenty of grassy areas surrounding the building to potty the dogs, with the largest area out front on the other side of the very large parking lot.
Overall Cleanliness: Immaculate.
Defibrillator: Unknown
Air Conditioning: Fully air-conditioned
Heat: Unknown
Restrooms: There are large bathrooms in both the front and back lobbies, so there is no waiting for a stall. Elevators are available between all levels.
Kitchen/club provided food: No outside food is allowed to be brought into the center. Volunteer workers receive vouchers that can be used at the food vendor in the building.
Food Vendors: A food vendor is on-site in a permanent location for arena visitors.
