Finding Premiums
If you go
- Consider parking on the grass and walking your dog on the grass closest to entry doors. The parking lot is crushed stone, which can be uncomfortable for sensitive paws.
- Pay attention to the weather forecast. The facility does a great job in ventilating cool outside air inside – it can even feel like a strong wind sometimes when standing in front of an entryway. But in humid or extremely hot weather, individual fans will make things more comfortable.
- Plan to purchase at least some of your lunches from the concession stand. They have specially made items for the trials, which are unique and mmm good!
Arrival
- The entry to the facility’s drive off the main road is relatively easy to spot from both directions
- Once pulling in, look to the right for the facility. One might mistake the storage buildings and numerous RVs on the left side for the facility at first.
- Once entering the actual facility area, some parking is on crushed stone. For most parking, turn left at the building and then left again to park on grass. There are signs for directions
- RVs wait for instructions on where to park:
Electric hookups – park along the right side of the building
Dry camping – in front of the building

Insider Information:
- The concession stand has excellent food during the dog agility trial events. One of the “chefs” is hooked on cooking shows and tries out different recipes for the trials.
- Two clubs often hold their trials on back-to-back weekends at the SportsZone. When this happens, the facility allows competitors to keep their crates set up for the following weekend if they plan to compete again (assuming nothing else is booked in between the trials).
