Sportszone > Facility Information
Facility Description
SportsZone is a year-round sports complex originally constructed in 2001. An addition was built in 2008 which allowed for 2 fields. It is owned by business partners Nick Heintzelman and Gary Keister.
This facility is maintained extremely well and everything is impeccably clean.
Crating & Potty Area
- Nice crating area on turf in front of the ring(s).
- Floors are marked with tape for aisles and crating spots.
- Many participants were able to view the trial from their crating area.
- Lots of green space – just tricky getting to it without walking on the crushed stone in the parking lot
- The main dog potty area is across a narrower area of the parking lot, behind several Thuja trees.
- A grassy area is also accessible from a large side door to left of the crating area. This one doesn’t require walking on the stone.
- On the right side of the building (by the RVs), there is a hill with a flat grassy area at the top. Although not owned by the facility, the neighbors are not opposed to pottying there assuming usual clean-up.
Public Wi-Fi: Yes – Very good and relatively fast in the a.m. but got slower as the day went on, likely due to more use
Overall Cleanliness: Excellent. SportsZone is the cleanest sports complex (that is also used for agility) that I have ever experienced. Impeccable.
