From I-40 East or West, the Asheville area, or points north: Take I-26 East to Exit 40); go right (west) for approximately 0.6 miles. Turn left onto Fanning Bridge Road and right into the arena parking lot. From the South: Take I-26 West to Exit 40. Go left (west) for approximately 0.7 miles and follow directions above.
Arrival
- The area provides easy visibility from the road, just look for the Gate 1 sign.
- There is paved parking on two sides of the building, which had ample space

Host Club(s):
The Blue Ridge Agility Club regularly holds AKC trials at McGough Arena. The Golden Retriever National Specialty also held an agility trial there.
Worker/Volunteer Incentives:
- Food was free for volunteers for the 3-days of trials, although it was snacks and not a meal.
- The Golden Retriever Specialty had no food for agility (but plenty in the Conformation building I visited and one could go there)
- Volunteers for all trial days received a voucher for $2.00 off concessions at the building or off any vendor there for each class worked
- There was also a worker raffle drawing for a $25 Clean Run gift certificate
